Teachers Training Colleges in Bangalore
Teaching as a profession has lately started gathering a lot of attention. With the setting up of a large number of schools the demand of teachers had also risen. But to be a teacher a B.Ed degree is a must from a recognized college. The eligibility is a graduate degree with at least 50% marks although there is some relaxation in the marks for the SC/ST candidates along with the reservation of seats. The B.Ed regular course is a comprehensive one year course which is aimed towards developing a teacher who can come down to the level of a student and make him understand the subject, introduce more and more practical knowledge, at the same time also solve any personal or emotional problem that a child faces during the course of study.
Bangalore has always been a huge education hub having a host of schools and colleges spread all across the city. B.Ed candidates have the choice of joining the one year classroom course or the two year correspondence course. But one should be very careful while selecting a college as there are a lot of colleges with fake affiliations which have been blacklisted by the government. Here is a gist of some of the good colleges that offer this course. Starting with Bangalore City College which is affiliated to the Bangalore University and is NAAC accredited. It is situated in Chelekere and was established in 2004 with the aim to produce useful and effective teachers for secondary school. Located in Jayanagar area R.V Teachers College is another reputed college affiliated to the Bangalore University. It is a private college with an intake of 100 students and having a course fee of Rs 60,000. Another college situated in the same area is the B.E.S College of Education.
